Traveling storytellers narrated legends and anecdotes while the emakimono was unrolled from the right to left with chronological order, as a moving panorama. Emakimono vary in size, measuring an average of 30 centimeters (1 ft.) in width and 9 to 12 meters (30 to 40 ft.) in length. In most cases a single story is portrayed in one to three scrolls. A handscroll is read by opening it to arm's length and viewing one portion at a time from right to left. I've never messed with Bootcamp; I just change computers, instead. The last I knew, DirectX was a Windows only library produced by Microsoft. I'm sure you could have a Mac with a capable video card. Alas, my only Mac is a small laptop upon which I do play games via Steam, but usually only when traveling.
Emakimono is an infinite auto-runner (or auto-flier, more so) that has you take control of a small, paper swallow, desperately fleeing from the collapse of its world. Gracefully guide the swallow over and under the various obstacles that stand in its way, and fly as far as you can!
This game was created in 48 hours as part of the Brisbane (Australia) 48 Hour Game Jam.

On the 20th of May, the state capital of Dusseldorf, which offers one of the largest Japanese locations in Europe, will celebrate the 16th anniversary of the JAPAN DAY. On this occasion, the Filmmuseum Düsseldorf is delighted to present the diversity of Japanese culture in the cinema Black Box. Together with the Japanese curator Hiroko Kimura-Myokam and the Japanese film director Shinpei Takeda, we want to present a young and exciting japanese Filmprogramme.
It is a good opportunity for every visitor of the city to immerse into the Japanese culture. We guarantee a diversified round trip through the land of the rising sun and look forward to your visit.
